Chaos
Tragicomedy
Directed by: Czajlik József
Chaos tells the story of three women. Sofia, Emmi, Julia. Women from Finland balancing on the verge of mental breakdown. Three characters, three answers to life challenges, three impasses. A shy teacher, an impulsive reporter and a psychotherapist. They feel blocked somewhere in their life. They dream about love, success and a happy, easy-going life without troubles. But everything burns. Will these three best friends be able to help one another even though they aren’t able to solve their own problems?
Sofia is a teacher at a school which is about to be closed. She is nervous and angry. Julia constantly has affairs with her patients. This situation is sweet and unethical at the same time. And it becomes difficult to see it clearly. Emmi juggles the roles of a young mother and wife and an ambitious career woman. Everything that was stable is now breaking into pieces.
The problems and characters of women and also men that the heroines of the play are facing and representing are connected with their personalities and rather insensitive social environment. Instead of difficult situations, the play is fresh and all the troubles and pains are presented in quotes and are not that serious.
